Lotte's journey as a content marketing intern at Travix

What were your main responsibilities during your internship, and how did they align with your career goals????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

My main responsibilities as a Content Marketing Intern at Travix were creating, updating and analyzing marketing content for the channels of the Dutch brands at Travix. With the guidance of my manager Floortje Vrijenhoek, I was responsible for the brand vliegwinkel.nl. These tasks included creating content for the weekly newsletter, creating and updating landing pages, writing SEO relevant blogs and posting travel related posts on the Instagram account of the brand. Furthermore, I assisted in preparing partnership campaigns and brainstorming upcoming campaigns. Having many different responsibilities during your internship gives you the best overview of the marketing field within the online travel industry and gives you the opportunity to find out what you enjoy most in terms of marketing activities.?

What was the most valuable skill you gained during your internship, and how will it help you in your future career??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The multiple responsibilities I had as an intern at Travix encouraged me to work in an efficient, organized, and in a (time) structured manner. Combining this with the social interactions with colleagues from all over the world gave me the perfect balance of being professional, responsible, enthusiastic, and curious.?

How did you feel about the culture at our company, and did you find it easy to fit in with the team????????

I believe everybody fits in with the culture at Travix. The mix of different nationalities, ages, and genders create a culture in which everybody can be themselves.?

What was your favorite project or task you worked on during your internship, and what did you learn from it???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Being responsible for the content marketing activities of vliegwinkel.nl really gave me the feeling of being part of the team. I appreciate the fact that Travix puts its trust in you in order for you to learn as much as possible. Everybody is willing to help you, making mistakes is part of the process and in the end you will learn from these mistakes.?

Based on your experience, what advice would you give to future interns at our company?????????????????

The main goal is to learn as much as possible. Therefore, ask questions, take initiative, and meet people from other departments as well. Every single person at Travix will happily answer your question, tell you about their job, or help you with something you're working on. So, take the opportunity because before you know it your internship will already be over!?
