Lots of live shows around here!

I’ve packed in four live music events and a play in the past two weeks. The highlight? Front row for John Moreland—just me and 38 others in a converted church in Durham after his Asheville performance was canceled. I also saw Sturgill Simpson in a 3-hour non-stop set to raise money for western North Carolina. My heart goes out to everyone in the surrounding areas, including Florida, who is recovering from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

On the RaderCo front… Huge thanks to everyone who voted for my next book title! After a 3-way tie and two more discussions with business-book coaches and my development editor Emily Crookston , I’ve landed on Reclaim Your Workday: Sustainable Productivity Strategies for the New World of Work. I’m excited to have already over 100 launch team members to help spread the word!

I presented three times to accountants on how to Work Well Remotely, Extinguish Email, and Break Free From Busy. I also spoke to NSA Ohio about creating Super Sexy Speaker Systems (because, let's face it, systems are sexy) and RTI International about elevating their focus.

I attended the launch party of Emily Crookston book Unwritten: The Thought Leader's Guide to Not Overthinking Your Business Book. I've read a lot of books on writing, and this one is gold.

Lastly, a major shoutout to Carolina Aponte of Caja Holdings LLC , RaderCo’s amazing fractional CFO, for being inducted into the NC Women Business Owners Hall of Fame!

And on October 19, we walked to Ben & Jerry's for our 372 date. Our first date was to the scoop shop in Muncie, Indiana on October 19, 1993 and we've gone on the 19th ever since. I thought this college boy was rich because he took me for such expensive ice cream!
