Hi Reader,

Last week’s electric ambulance story is the most popular article we’ve had on our site since we launched back in December. It’s an important topic and made more accessible because we got to go where many of you will not and share that in an authentic way. We’ll be doing more of that over the next year, so watch this space.

In the meantime, check out my interview with East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service chief, Dawn Whittaker KFSM , who told me about the value of bringing in people with different experience to station manager roles and is disrupting the traditional model, just like she did 20 years ago.
