The coaching industry is undeniably booming.?
According to IBISWorld, it's a $14.1 billion market with over 80,000 businesses.?
This growth is a testament to the increasing recognition of the power of personalized guidance in achieving personal and professional goals.
But, amidst this exciting landscape, it's easy to feel overwhelmed when searching through the abundance of coaches. This volume can also make it difficult to choose the right one.?
Many entrepreneurs gravitate towards seemingly affordable group coaching programs as a way to dip their toes in the water.
And while the initial group cost may be lower than 1:1, results often fall short of delivering the transformative impact entrepreneurs seek.
I've heard countless stories about entrepreneurs who invested in group programs, only to feel?lost and unsupported.?
Here’s what else causes individuals to feel discouraged and even resentful in group coaching:
1.?????? The lack of personalized attention
2.?????? The overwhelming volume of information
3.?????? The pressure to keep up with the pace of the program
One of my clients invested significant time and resources in a highly-regarded group coaching program before we met.?
Despite her initial enthusiasm, she quickly realized that the generic advice and lack of individual support weren't translating into tangible results.?
Feeling frustrated, she ultimately requested a refund and found herself on the verge of giving up on her entrepreneurial dreams when we met.
This experience deeply resonated with me because I've been there too.?
That’s why I believe that true transformation occurs through a deeply personalized and collaborative approach. I strongly believe successful outcomes require a win-win attitude mindset. So I created the ECCO framework: Education + Coaching + Consulting = Opportunities.
And instead of pushing a one-size-fits-all solution, I work closely with each client to understand their unique challenges, identify their strengths, and co-create a customized strategy that aligns with their specific goals and aspirations.
In the case of my client who felt like giving up, we embarked on a transformative journey.?
We delved deep into her core values, uncovered her unique mastery and purpose. We also collaborated to develop a clear vision for a business that revolved around her instead of the other way around.?
By implementing a tailored action plan and providing consistent support and accountability, we were able to achieve a remarkable turnaround for her business plus a 200%+ ROI on her initial investment.
This experience reinforced my belief that settling for generic programs that lack 1:1 attention is a disservice to your unique potential.?
You deserve a guide who will invest in understanding your individual needs, challenges, and aspirations.?
You deserve a professional who will guide you with empathy and wisdom, empowering you to unlock your full potential and build a thriving, sustainable business.
It's crucial to understand the distinctions between a business coach and a business consultant.
While a business coach is more focused on providing guidance, a business consultant provides specific solutions to your specific challenges.?
Here are the four key distinctions between professionals who consult and coach business owners:
What Do Business Consultants Do?
Business consultants are usually experts in a particular subject matter and give technical and professional advice to clients.?1??Consulting mostly comes down to helping leaders?solve business challenges and problems.?2?Consultants, therefore, analyze the situation and devise the best course of action for your business to take on a cost-benefit basis. They may:??
Business consultants do well at hands-on problem-solving. They can successfully devise and implement an overall strategy or address a particular issue.
What Do Business Coaches Do?
Business coaches are mentors. Their role is to support, educate, and motivate you. An effective business coach will also advise you on implementing and prioritizing strategies. Business coaches:
Business coaching is good for business owners who enjoy doing everything themselves but need advice about direction.
My ECCO framework ensures that my service is a holistic blend of coaching and consulting.

3 周I am taking a hiatus from having an official coach. I am still learning but the "having someone to talk to to help me out" doesn't seem to work. Most programs and coaches are so cookie cutter. I would love to see some regulation in the industry and my next coach will have to be highly vetted not just a testimonial page. I get great coaching is pricey and I'll honor that one day, but I've paid high ticket pricing before and got a crazy butt coach, that was verbally abusive to everyone in the group for the nice price of $2K per month. There was another program where most of us shouldn't have even been allowed in the program in the first place, but the coach had financial goals obviously and we were allowed in. At the time I was a new business owner and didn't know what I needed, even after giving my answers in a connect call, looking back I should have been told not a good fit. I take ownership for my part of just wanting my business to work and believing how they said they could help me. In business and life you don't know what you don't know. But now I know.
