Losers Also Have A Lot To Say Too

“You were not born a winner, and you were not born a loser. You are what you make yourself be.”

We all get inspired by success stories, people who are winning at work, who are at the top, but what about people who are trying? Aren’t they an inspiration?

What do we call someone who enters a race and finishes last?

We call them losers but they too are winners. A loser is one who never entered the race. Come to think about it, why do we have to define someone as a loser?

There are no losers - only winners and learners - so why not listen to what learners have to say

  • Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi worked as a tea seller and was often ridiculed for his humble beginnings.

"My struggle gave me strength. The success is only a result of that hard work."

  • Albert Einstein was labelled as a slow learner and a failure early in life.

"I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious."

  • J.K. Rowling was rejected by numerous publishers before her story "Harry Potter" was accepted.

"Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life."

  • Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan faced rejection due to his deep voice and was out of work for years.

"Bad luck either destroys you or makes you the man or woman you really are."

  • Thomas Edison failed thousands of times before inventing the light bulb.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

  • Oprah Winfrey got fired from her first job as a TV anchor. She was told she wasn’t fit for television.
