This still works:? start where you are and keep taking steps to improve.
This works for achieving body transformation and everything else.
Don’t wait for motivation to kick in, JUST GET STARTED!?????
This worked for Mary who was frustrated with stalled progress.
She didn’t know where to start.? She was STUCK.
?? After speaking with her, she made one significant change. She stopped drinking sugary sodas every day.?
She lost 7 pounds. To be clear, she’ll need to make other changes to maintain her progress long-term. But, she got STARTED and got the momentum turned toward progress!
Being consistent with eating better and exercising can feel so overwhelming! Or, "I know I should do this but I can't get myself going."
Here’s an effective way to get you moving in the right direction.
???It’s called the 5-minute action. There’s nothing special about 5 minutes. It could be 10 seconds, 1 minute, 10 minutes or "giving up drinking sugary drinks."
The point is:?
??It’s an action—something you do.
??That action is very small, something that feels easy and simple.
??It moves you in the direction you want to go.
??It's an easy win—which gives you the confidence boost to do more good for yourself. ?

???How to do it
Pick an action that might have a positive impact on health and well-being right now. Some examples:??Cut up some veggies or fruit for a later snack, walk 5 minutes (4 times a day) or drink water for beverages.
You can also get a little more strategic and pick an action to support a larger goal. For example, maybe your ultimate goal is to get back into the habit of eating mostly home-cooked meals.
Take ONE small action in support of your bigger, future goal. That might mean making a grocery list and shopping on the regular.
It can be tough to get motivated, but here’s a secret:
???It’s action that drives motivation, not the other way around.
When you do a small thing to improve your circumstances, this actually inspires you to do more things. Now you’re no longer “waiting to get motivated.” You’re creating your own motivation.
You can build sustainable SKILLS that help with managing portion sizes, regulating emotions (without food) and choosing nutritious foods you truly enjoy (to name a few).
And, you can do this by starting with a 5-minute action!
Because most of us have a pretty good idea of WHAT to do. But consistently doing it? That’s the real challenge.
YOU CAN reach your goals and maintain them for life!?
