The Technical Committee:

• Successful Face-to-Face Meeting: The Technical Committee, hosted by Semtech in Grenoble, brought together approximately 30 participants for two days. The meeting covered progress updates from various task forces and working groups, with a focus on discussions requiring broad TC alignment and collaboration. Additionally, attendees enjoyed two well-received presentations from local universities.

The Certification Committee:

• Increase in LoRaWAN Certifications: LoRaWAN certifications saw an upward trend throughout 2024. In particular, certifications for Version 1.0.4 surpassed those for Version 1.0.2 in 2023.

The Marketing Committee:

• LoRa Alliance at CES: LoRa Alliance CEO Alper YEGIN and Senior Global Events Manager Megan Leonard, CMP attended CES in Las Vegas this past January, strengthening industry connections and ecosystem engagement. Alper joined a panel with PWC, showcasing thought leadership in IoT. The event provided valuable networking opportunities with members, partners, and industry alliances.
• Marketing Committee Chair: The LoRa Alliance is accepting nominations for the open Marketing Committee Chair. The deadline to submit is Friday, February 7, 2025.
