The Natural Cycles of Desire and Growth
Cycles are the most natural rhythms in life?—?inside and outside of us. This is how nature moves, how transformation happens, and how we evolve. And if you’re paying attention, you can feel when a shift, a big change, is about to happen. It’s an intimate, personal sensation, often difficult to explain to others. Most of the time, it won’t make sense to anyone but you?—?and maybe to those riding the same wave. Even then, each person moves at their own pace, in their own unique style.
But how do we get to that threshold, that moment just before something big unfolds? How do we arrive at the brink of transformation?
The Magnetic Pull of Desire
We first see it?—?our future, our potential?—?and we fall in love with it. That’s how personal power and attention work. We are constantly moving from one focus to the next, and once a true desire takes root within us, forgetting about it is impossible. When we long to be, do, or experience something, that desire remains, pulsing beneath the surface, calling us forward.
The key question is: how do we move from simply wanting something to actually stepping into it?
From Vision to Reality
First, we must believe it’s possible. If you can see it and feel it?—?deeply, powerfully, with the kind of passion that makes you fall in love?—?then you are already on your way. That vision isn’t just a dream; it’s a signpost. A confirmation that what you want is within reach.
But desire alone isn’t enough. We need movement. And movement happens one step at a time. The path unfolds through focus?—?pouring our energy into what truly matters. Soon, you realize that even the smallest steps, when taken consistently, accumulate faster than you ever imagined. Effort stops feeling like a burden when you’re heading toward what excites you. Instead, it feels like relief, empowerment, even joy.
Why We Must Keep Moving
Once your energy locks onto something you deeply desire?—?a career, a lifestyle, a place, a relationship, an experience?—?everything inside you starts moving in that direction. And there are no true substitutes for what truly calls you. You cannot turn off genuine desire. The only options are to move toward it or to stagnate.
Suffering often arises when we resist this movement. When, for whatever reason, we hold ourselves back. Sometimes, we temporarily deviate from our path, distracted or uncertain. But desire doesn’t disappear. It resurfaces?—?one year, two years, even decades later. And when it does, we often find ourselves standing in the same place we left it, facing the same decision we avoided before.
This is the loop. The cycle repeating itself, but with a wiser version of you.
When we are not ready to move forward, life gives us the time and experiences we need. And then, one day, we find ourselves back at the edge?—?only now, something has changed. This time, we may finally feel ready to step forward. And that one step, simple yet significant, might be the one that takes us exactly where we need to go.
The Moment You Leap
Congratulations. You’ve reached the threshold. The moment when everything aligns and you find yourself experiencing the very thing you once only dreamed of.
And just like that, you’re ready for the next great thing. Because life is an ever-expanding journey?—?one cycle flowing into the next, one desire leading to another, one step at a time.
Final Thoughts
Desire strongly.
Take baby steps if needed.
Be gentle with yourself.
Daydream often.
Keep moving, always.
Trust the process.
And when you get close enough to feel the current… jump.
You might just fly.
All the best,Yamandú
