Introducing the Gentoo Textile Heater: Heated Fabric for Extreme Cold

We are excited to announce the launch of the Gentoo Heater, Loomia’s latest innovation in heated fabric technology, developed in collaboration with Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA) . Designed to perform in ultra-cold environments, the Gentoo Heater has been tested to withstand temperatures as low as -60°C, ensuring exceptional reliability in the harshest conditions.

Summer R&D Design & Engineering Internship Opportunity at Loomia

Loomia is looking for an R&D Design and Engineering Intern to join our team for a three-month internship this summer. The intern will work closely with our CTO on research and fabrication tasks, including soldering, heat pressing, laser cutting, packaging, shipping, and other small tasks. The internship will start in May 2025.

This is not a remote position. Candidates must be located in New York and willing to commute to our office in Industry City (Sunset Park, Brooklyn).
