Looking for young leaders to join our Future Coach Advisory Board

Future Coach is an innovative coaching experience that meets young people where they are at and supports them in developing the skills and mindsets necessary to lead a purpose-driven life– now and for the future. If you’d like to better understand the full potential of Future Coach, please watch this short video presentation.?

Throughout 2023 and 2024, Future Coach has supported hundreds of young people through a scaled back version of our platform. In this new year, we are preparing to move our MVP into Beta and continue to build towards our big vision for this transformative app, platform and content, that will bring the full potential of Future Coach to life. As we build, we are committed to the voice of young people being at the center of designing, building, and decision-making throughout this process (and beyond). So, we’re looking for young leaders across the country to be a part of the Future Coach Young Leader Advisory Board (YLAB).? Below is a brief description of the YLAB, along with next steps for any interested young leader to apply. I have also attached a more detailed description of the YLAB if you’d like a more in-depth look at this amazing opportunity.?

Description of the Future Coach Young Leader Advisory Board (YLAB)

In the words and minds of our YLAB members:

“YLAB is a community of young leaders who collaborate with Future Coach to shape their brand and maximize their impact. The group provides personal insights, feedback, and opinions on various aspects such as app development, branding, and strategies. YLAB aims to tailor Future Coach to meet the needs of young people and represents the voice of this generation. Their role is to consistently consider the intentions of Future Coach in decision-making processes, ensuring that the app effectively serves its intended audience. The community of young people and adults works together to develop a coaching app that helps individuals reflect, improve, and reach their potential. YLAB recognizes and respects the opinions of all its members and strives to make Future Coach relevant and helpful to young people's experiences.”

The Future Coach Young Leader Advisory Board will serve to make sure the voice of young people is at the center of Future Coach. In this role, members of the YLAB will be responsible for participating in work in and out of monthly community sessions, and will be stipend throughout the course of the year-long commitment.?The work of this board will be done almost entirely remotely (online) and so young people from across the United States, ages 16 - 22, are encouraged to apply. While previous engagement with Future Coach, or The Future Project, is helpful, it is not a requirement. Ideal candidates for this opportunity are young leaders who are excited and able to collaborate with a community of their peers (and a few adults) online to build a transformative experience for thousands of young people— now and for the future.
