This week, our intern Josh stepped into the machining station! Under the guidance of our skilled team, he explored the precision and craftsmanship required to fabricate CNC machine components. Josh also gained valuable insight into the importance of each individual part he is helping to build and how these components contribute to the overall machine assembly. We’re proud to see his enthusiasm and curiosity as he dives deeper into the world of CNC technology. How cool is this? The Boom XB-1 supersonic demonstrator aircraft flew with an iLevil 3 AW during one of its flights! The Boom XB-1 is a one-third-scale trijet supersonic demonstrator developed by Boom Supersonic as part of the Boom Overture supersonic transport airliner project. Powered by three General Electric J85 engines, it is designed to reach speeds of Mach 2.2 and has a range of over 1,000 nautical miles.
