Looking at the Sunset

This weekend's newsletter article ?? begins with me taking a stroll ???? near the Water's Soul sculpture Friday evening to relax my mind and ease into the New York City Marathon weekend.

While approaching the massive 80 feet tall sculpture, I couldn't help but notice and marvel at its light red glow, which I'd not seen up close before.

As I stood on the pier admiring the light red glow of Water's Soul, lo and behold, the sun was starting to set ?? over the city, which made me smile ?? because I knew I was in store for some spectacular imagery!

As a result, my creative writing juices started flowing just like the water in the nearby Hudson River, so I rushed over to a royal blue chair on the pier to sit or lie down to capture my thoughts in my iPhone journal before they disappeared!

I must have been sitting comfortably in the royal blue chair shown above for ten minutes straight, typing away in my e-Journal, when suddenly, I heard a gaggle of geese ?? chirping up a storm.

The lovely melody ?? they were making caused me to stop typing and look up ?? to locate them flying in the sky.?

After watching and listening to the singing geese fly by me so happily and gracefully, I stood up to continue my ???? walk, and when I did, the sight of Water's Soul combined with the color of the sun setting ?? in the background literally took my breath away!?

As you might expect, I opened my iPhone camera app and took some pics ?? for my photo journal.?

Now feeling even more relaxed than I was just ten minutes ago because of this breathtaking imagery, I started walking ???? around the pier area, fully present and enjoying this moment and all it had to offer!

Soon, the day turned to night, and that's when I started making my way home.?

And even though I had no plans to post this Saturday due to the New York City Marathon tomorrow, I decided to publish this article along with some of the pics ?? I took yesterday because the vibrations I felt from the universe this morning compelled me to do so! ??

Closing Thoughts?

Well, friends, I will end it here and get ready to meditate ???? near the blue and white lighthouse that overlooks the New York City skyline.
