or so it seems


receiving blue shoes

wishing for red

never satisfied

with what we have


a scribbled note

essentially saying

i'm satisfied

a reminder


after work rest

raising a glass

being satisfied

sitting at supper


watching a life churn

the ugly and good

moments of satisfied

hours of building


memory of the dead

memorize their ways

slightly satisfying

smell hear see them


a big desire

pounding for attention

never satisfied

wrestling to rest


why am i crying

a joy a triumph

always satisfied

reaching to this
