Project Overview

We are currently building a High Performance Competence Center within NTT DATA covering exciting new projects. Our client is?one of the largest financial institutions in the world, offering financial and strategic services through its group companies.

What you can expect & what we want you to do:

• Delivering high quality and maintainable code that is thoroughly tested at all levels.
• Analysis, design and development of new integration projects in a Unix and Windows environment.
• Managing projects, planning and conducting systems testing and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Adhering to Bank International development standards and procedures, including change control.
• Dealing with day-to-day production problems and maintenance when required.
• Be technically curious, tackling problems without giving up, and producing solutions that less-experienced engineers can use, maintain, and learn from.
• Know how to develop and follow a sense of purpose. Be willing to point out, own, and fix things that are broken.

What you are good at & what you’ll need to win:

• Experience with Java and JEE development.
• Proficient experience or strong understanding of integration architecture and design skills.
• Experience in using object oriented analysis, in particular UML.
• Experience with Publish/Subscribe messaging paradigms, distributed transaction processing based on JTA/JTS.
• Specifically experience with JBoss, JMS, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Strong UNIX skills in particular Linux.
• Strong relational database skills - Sybase , MS SQL Server, MySQL.
• TDD experience and mindset.
• JUnit, mocking and Cucumber.
• Experience in defining and implementing web services (REST paradigm) and data services (e.g. OData).
• Reading & writing clean and maintainable code.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience working under the Agile mindset.
