Happy Friday! For some of us, it might be the last working day before everyone goes back to school, so I hope it is a productive and/or fun one for you!
Incentive Motivation is a type of extrinsic motivation which describes when you’re motivated by the reward rather than achieving the goal itself.
Examples of an incentive motivation might include:
Because there will be a reward to look forward to at the end of the task, people will often become more determined to see the task through so that they can receive whatever was promised. The better the reward, the stronger the motivation!
