??POSITION TITLE??????????: DESIGNER (Process and Layout)??????????????????????????????????

DEPARTMENT???????????: ENGINEERING??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Tasks and Responsibilities

?·?????????Draft Process drawings like P&ID, PFD, PSD, MSD and BFD in AutoCAD.

·?????????Receive drawing mark - up from Process Engineer

·?????????Draft Process drawings from initial stage i.e. first revision till the final As built

·?????????Ensure the drawings are correct as per project specifications/standard i.e. title block, symbol, legend, font, format etc.

·?????????Perform self - check of the drafted drawings

·?????????Issue drawings for IDC review and update all comments as a result of IDC.

·?????????Backdraft drawings until drawings are in an issuance stage

·?????????Prepare 3-D model of package /Equipment if required to generate bill of materials

·?????????Generate Bill of material from P&ID’s, Layout drawings.

·?????????Feasibility Evaluation, Piping design and layout.

·?????????Maintain the drawing electronic folder

REQUIREMENTS /SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

?·????????Min 7 years relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry (Upstream & Downstream).

·????????Advanced drafting skills on AutoCAD.

·????????Excellent knowledge of 3D modelling and drafting using PDMS.

·????????Knowledge on Aveva P&ID, Smartplant P&ID (SPPID) an added advantage

·????????Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of process plant layout

·????????Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree from recognized university.

·????????Experience in oil and gas upstream process packages and equipment’s.

·????????Must have basic knowledge of types of valves, piping, Instruments and Equipment’s.

·????????Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of drafting of process drawings.

·????????Exposure in Layout development and Skid based designs

·????????Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·????????Must have knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code, API design standards and Specifications of Middle East clients (KOC/ARAMCO/ADMA,ADNOC,ADCO/TECHNIP etc)

·????????Review specifications to ensure integrity in-line with requirements.

·????????Communication, people management, analytical and coordination skills.
