Looking for a new challenge
I command a vast array of knowledge, skills and abilities ranging in scope from a unusually broad population perspective to a strong rehabilitative perspective for the individual symptom, analytical skills that allow me to evaluate a given institution in short order and give expert opinions on how to improve services, processes and outcomes. I also have a hot agenda called Managed Care in a Public Setting which is still looking for the laboratory willing to make it happen.
This strategy desperately needs a laboratory. When this strategy is rolling, it will show so many benefits that the whole world will want to emulate it. Everyone knows someone, and sooner or later, the right contact will pop up so that the grand experiment can get started.
The words of Prof. Jonathan P Weiner of Johns Hopkins University ring so true: "Worldwide, the demand for health care services is rising inexorably at the same time available resources are being constrained. This book provides a practical and compelling roadmap to all of those facing the myriad challenges of balancing care, cost and social conscience. Health care policymakers, managers and clinicians everywhere should read this book for its many lessons and insights!" The book, Managed Care in a Public Setting, describes why revolution in the way we plan, implement and evaluate of care and social services is desperately needed. It is a strategy which in its most basic form dictates the pooling of resources for healthcare and social services and utilizing these resources under simultaneous observance of the lowest effective level of care and the highest possible quality of care. This would allow, within any given, limited population, the identification of all waste thus freeing up resources for much-needed activities. Mission impossible? Hire me, and I will show you!
