Let's come to a point, and be on point !!
1. Every candidate will be prepared for the basic interview questions. Find new ways to understand the candidates.
2. Check whether the candidate is adaptive and a team player or not. Can the candidate give you examples of how they were able to grow, shift, and evolve to workplace change in their last position and how they performed there??
3. Is the candidate a good resource manager or not? Knowing how to do best with less is a critical skill and not everyone is a master in it. Try to give the candidate situations where you can test his skills on how he will manage such situations.
4. Do they admit their mistakes? Able learners will make lots of mistakes and they will be able to learn important lessons from them. Look for a candidate who can easily describe their failures, and what they learned from these mistakes.
5. Are they ready to learn and upscale? The best candidates are eager and rapid learners, they will also have learnings they pursue on their own.
