Looking Forward to LIVE23

Earlier this month, we announced SmartSense LIVE23, our annual user conference. I can’t wait to see so many new and familiar faces October 11-13 in Orlando! We already have a number of great customers signed up to attend and a full lineup of speakers featuring industry thought leaders and executives. We are inviting all SmartSense customers to join us for two days of education, training, and networking to solve problems alongside their peers in healthcare, retail pharmacy, retail grocery, restaurant and food safety, and K-12 nutrition. For me, user conferences are all about the people. LIVE is a focal point for fostering our remarkable, interconnected customer community. It’s a space where industry leaders throughout the different verticals we serve merge their far-reaching expertise in mutually enriching programming and conversation. The purpose of LIVE is not merely to be an outlet for dissecting product attributes or operations. As a user conference, LIVE transcends beyond the realm of instruction manuals and tutorials and elevates the dialogue towards strategy around implementation, adoption, and consistent delivery of desired outcomes for all IoT. It’s as focused on business results as it is on the evolution of IoT hardware and software.?

Events like these serve as powerful opportunities to uplift and augment the career trajectories of the people and companies who use our solutions. Using SmartSense equips users with insights and expertise which they can not only employ in their own departments, but also disseminate amongst their peers, opening doors to greater advancement. As a seasoned organizer of numerous user conferences for various technology companies, I have often witnessed attendees returning in gratitude, sharing their remarkable success stories of career progression, attributed to the knowledge and support they gained at our events. I am truly excited that Paul Brody will be joining us as a speaker at LIVE. Paul is the Global Blockchain Expert at Ernst & Young. He is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and investments in blockchain technology for the company's consulting, audit, and tax business lines. Paul is proud to solve real business problems with his clients, using innovation in blockchain technology. Over his career, Paul has held several leadership positions in the areas of IoT, supply chain, operations, and business strategy, working with client organizations such as HP, Samsung, LG, Huawei, Apple, Canon, and many more. As an expert in electronics business strategy, mobile telecommunications, and supply chain management, Brody is always developing new ideas that reshape the tech industry. His talk on blockchain will be especially pertinent given the new traceability regulations coming down the pike very soon.?Brody always makes complex topics look very simple.?

Dr. Darin Detwiler will also be joining us. An Associate Professor at Northeastern University, Detwiler is an internationally recognized food policy and technology expert with 25+ years’ experience in shaping federal food policy, consulting with corporations, and contributing thought leadership to industry events and publications. Detwiler will also be making an appearance in the forthcoming Netflix documentary, Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food, when it is released later this year.?
