It has come a long way, from eliminating CFCs in its operations way back in 1993 to recently becoming Japan’s first manufacturing company to use 100% renewable energy, thus reducing CO2 emissions by 250,000 tonnes. For its efforts, Epson received a platinum rating for sustainability from EcoVadis of France for the second time - placing it in the top 1% of sustainable companies in the manufacturing industry.
