Looking back. Will you be happy?

Looking back. Will you be happy?

Here's how you can build a company like Justin Welsh.

It's a grind, it will take years, but you can't have it if you don't start.

What's holding you back?

Is it the tools?

Is it the knowledge?

Is it the process?

The time will pass either way, you can spend an hour per day have this eventually.

Instead, you are choosing to let that hour pass you by.

Everyday.

You chose to Netflix.

You chose to doom scroll.

You chose to be a sub.

You chose clout.

You cared what other people thought.

Let me in on a little secret.

They aren't thinking about you.

Here's how you can get started today.

This is a masterclass.

We all have something that we are passionate about.

What is it?

Daniel Priestly says that passion is the sum of vision, mission, and origin.

Can you summarize those things?

If the answer is yes, you have an implementation task to do.

Do you write?

Are you comfortable in front of a camera?

Do you have a smartphone?? (I know you do)

Here are the three things from the Grand Master Justin Welsh , that you can do with almost no money, to accomplish one day, if you start right now.

You can test out the demand for your Idea these days in a way that goes against the Iron Triangle of project management.

We live in a new world.

Do you know about the Iron Triangle?

When I got my first job in a cubicle, I remember one of the guys in the cube next to mine had this as a reminder to the boss that he could have his cake and eat it too.

Fast, Cheap, and Easy. Pick 2.

What does it all mean Basil?!

Let me break it down for you. Back in the day, we would have to choose because..

  1. If It's Easy & Cheap, it won't be Fast
  2. If it's Fast & Cheap, it won't be Easy to use
  3. If it's Fast & Easy, it won't be Cheap

Up until the last 5 years or so, this was the reality.

It's not anymore.

You can have your cake and eat it too

But how??

Part 1, start building awareness and collecting names

  1. Go and signup https://clickstudio.email it costs $7 per month.
  2. Create a compelling landing page that outlines your idea
  3. Add a photo
  4. Create a little video talking about it for the body of your landing page
  5. Create a White List
  6. Talk about it every day on the social channel of your choice and use the landing page to funnel people into the idea.
  7. Don't stop until you have 1000 signups.

Getting people to sign up for a whitelist is a very easy engagement since there is no cost to the customer.

People are 90x more likely to convert to a whitelist than they are to buy a product from you.

With a whitelist, you can build exclusivity, and create some "with or without you" energy.

Rolex does it. Tesla does it. Everyone does it. this is why. You are making your customers work for it. We live in a world where people want something they buy it. you are putting a boundary between them and it and building excitement around it.

All it took was a landing page and a whitelist.

Now what??

Back to the Grand Wizard for Part 2.

This is not rocket science.

When you are ready to start building up the FOMO you can start engaging those signups

Now that you have your names you can start learning about what you are selling.

That's right, you don't even have to know what you're selling yet!

You can start asking things like..

  • How much are you willing to pay?
  • What are you trying to achieve?
  • What's your biggest fear of what could go wrong?
  • What would you try if this didn't exist?

Formulate your survey questions then..

  1. Sign up at https://clickstudio.biz it costs $7 per month to build your surveys, polls, & forms.
  2. Set up a survey that you can share directly with your whitelist of emails
  3. You can do this directly in that product by signing up to Pro or using your email to be lean. Pro will also give you access to Automation and AI tools to make it happen faster
  4. Start collecting data points!
  5. Use the knowledge accumulated there to decide how to structure your offering

Okay, we are $14 down..

It doesn't get much faster, cheaper, or easier than that.

With just a post per day, spend an additional 30 minutes engaging new people who might be interested, respond to every comment, and drive the algorithm crazy. That's on you.

What's next?

back to the Grand Master JW..

Knowing what you know from your surveys, you can now create a set of landing pages tuned to each type of person reading them. This is key!

You need to understand your target, you need to write your emails and lands such that they are personalized to the person who is reading them.

NOT FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE

You need to get in their heads

Be them

They need to agree

They need to be saying "YES"

As MY favorite says "If it's not FUCK YES, its a no." - Mark Manson

My favorite feature of the https://clickstudio.pro suite of tools is that it allows you to build your brands, to grow & engage a community, it sets you up with a dashboard of all your landing pages that your customers can have free or paid access to. You can create a space where you can build your course, engage your customers, and allow them to interact as a community through a social feed, and give reviews and references.

They will value it because of all the work that they had to do to get into it.

Don't be a prehistoric Ape. We live in a world of AI and Automation. You are about to be replaced by a bot. What we have as humans is the ability to share knowledge, to be authentic, to share our wisdom, and to connect with the community.

It's just a click away, and an hour a day.

Don't take my word for it.

“Your future self is watching you right now through your memories.”

Aubrey de Grey

Do this for you.

Your future self is watching you.

Stop consuming and start producing.

Stay Tuned!
