As the year comes to an end, it's clear the telecom industry faced no shortage of challenges – from slowing 5G investments to difficult macroeconomic factors. Yet despite the headwinds, Ericsson powered forward in the software space, scoring big wins with leading providers.

2023's Biggest News

Up first, 爱立信 and AT&T have signed a major network evolution deal to deploy programmable and intelligent networks of the future, with the Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform at its center.?

Our autumn highlight was the roll-out of a new, ML and AI-powered advanced troubleshooting capability to enhance service experience.?

During the summer, New Zealand telecoms company, Spark, appointed Ericsson to supply the 5G Core for their 5G Standalone network. This followed the news in May that Vodafone Idea Limited and 爱立信 had successfully completed one of the world's biggest charging consolidation programs in India.?

The first quarter of the year closed with a big milestone: Ericsson was named a Leader in the 2023 Gartner? Magic Quadrant? for 5G Network Infrastructure for CSPs for the third year in a row. As part of a strong MWC campaign which saw a lot of news coming out, we announced that Orange Espa?a launched Spain's first-ever commercial 5G Standalone network powered by Ericsson’s cloud-native, dual-mode 5G Core.
