Looking back on 2024
Graham Pattison Dip (BAPH)
Creative products for the hospitality market and Commercial Photographer
As we come to the end of 2024, I wanted to reflect on the year in images and thoughts.
When I started the year, my ambition was always to create photographs that capture places and events which would inspire, encapsulate a moment and tell a story.
Photography to me has become a personal crusade to offer the most creative images without losing focus on the subject I was taking.
From a very commercial image displaying product in a complimentary setting..
To a musical performance which captures the feel and ambience of the event.
The art of framing an image is essential in differentiating between amateur and professional photography. It transforms a simple snapshot into a powerful work of art. Creating a lasting impression or transforming ordinary products into extraordinary experiences.
To me, photography should create an emotional response, in essence it should provoke, broaden perspectives, create a connection or simply sell what you see.
As I continue in my dream to make this a commercial enterprise, in a very tough market. It has become increasingly challenging to find companies or individuals who feel my style of photography works for their specific market
?After achieving my diploma 2 years ago I have always challenged myself to progressively learn new skills and techniques.
I want to thank you for following ‘My World of Photography’ and hope my images have done what they were designed for and you have enjoyed reading and viewing each newsletter.
If you have any comments, advice or questions pertaining to your own business, in which I may be able to offer some help with, please drop me a line. In the meantime, I look forward to you remaining with me through 2025.
A Happy New year to all my readers
