Looking back at 2022

2022 was a juicy year for dialogueSA. Thank you for making our favourite moments from this year possible, and for being a part of the dialogue tribe.

Reflecting on the year that’s been ( before we jump into 2023), here are some of the highlights:

Wild Coast feeling. In February we held a seven-day strategy session on the Wild coast. Here we visioned, turned things inside out, and tightened processes. We went into the year with a renewed sense of how to support leaders in building inclusive and inspirational workplaces that encourage people to do their best work.?

Walking along the beach in an integration session, we came up with the expression ‘feeling the wild coast in our bones’ as an equivalent to the expression ‘feeling like a million dollars.’ And we managed to carry this intention, buoyancy, and freedom into the work we chose to do this year.

Looking back, it feels as if we almost effortlessly reached our targets and achieved a lot of unexpected wins along the way.

London and Ghana workshops. New clients added to our old ones in Ghana and London, which led to exciting trips (yay - face-to-face!) and awesome virtual collaborations. We learned how to show up despite huge changes and uncertainty and keep momentum and innovation surging throughout the organisation.

You asked, we answered...Graduates to Exco interventions

When you couldn’t think straight?and needed a thinking partner to get you from overwhelm to clarity, you called on us. Together, we ran analytics on your team, helped change mindsets; looked at new ways to deeply involve customers and helped you lean into your natural wisdom, tenacity and ingenuity.

Thank you for choosing dialogueSA to deepen your practice. Your Top Three requests this year were Design Thinking, Leadership support and development and Coach Activator (developing a coaching skillset for managers).

To support ourselves in this training so as to remain sensitive to what is relevant and?sharpen our own skillset, members of the dialogue staff kept abreast by being part of COMENSA supervision committee; taking part in trauma release, deepened transactional analysis, neuroscience of change, ecosystem supervision, Mindbody Magic coaching and somatic healing training; being selected as a fellow at the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA); serving on executive boards; and having speaking engagements in Europe.

This helps us help you and we felt honored to have been with you on key steps along your journey.

Peppered with awards!

We were delighted to win three awards this year – one international and two national. The Wealth and Finance Consultancy award for Change Leadership Specialist of the Year, being awarded one of the Top 20 small businesses in South Africa from the South African Small Business Chamber, and the Leadership Excellence award.

These were unexpected wins, and we are grateful to all those clients who took the time to give their views in interviews or testimonials. From last our judging industry awards last year to this year winning some, it has been a sweet journey.

We feel so lucky we get to do what we do. And it’s all possible because of our strong community of clients.
