Speaking of MJBizcon, and booths, and contests

While we were putting together strategies for our booth at MJBizcon this year, one of our goals was to do a better job of qualifying the visitors to our booth. It's kind of a unique challenge for us since every attendee is a potential customer (even if it's just as an attendee to one of our events), but more than anything else we wanted to meet potential exhibitors, so we wanted a quick and easy way to identify them without badgering them with a bunch of questions.

The idea we came up with was the free booth giveaway - we asked everyone who approached us if they wanted to sign up to win a free booth at any 2024 necann show. Lots of people said "no thanks", making it pretty safe to cross them off the "potential exhibitor" list. The lesson here: sometimes simple is best!
