...LOOK OVER YONDER...
Sometimes you have to
slow down
and sit down
to place things
into the proper perspective...
When you analyze your
performance in life's journey
You may attempt to become protective
of your own feelings
Because life's dealings
and episodes
cannot be predicted
as things unfold
that were never included
on your self-made script...
And as you sip on liquid reality,
what used to be untold
has been forced to detonate
and thus explodes
causing cerebral residue
and the devil's whispers
are tellin' you
"Hope is gone..."
But as you sit,
your faith and creative mind
know that if hope were dope
you'd be smokin' up and
shootin' up 'round the clock
like a Jehovah Junkie
and pullin' up at a dock
in search of that pusher
who can fix that need
just in case your urge does
not want to take heed...
When the devil pops up
just remember to look over yonder
and never wonder
why God Almighty put you here
and is keeping you here in the first place...
...You still have valuable work to do before your mission is complete...
