Look Out for The Snow Bear - Snugs!

Suzy is happy to announce the launch of the first book in her magical Children's Series, "Snugs The Snow Bear," which is now available on Amazon and from Snow Leopard Publishing, U.S Online, to arrive in time for Christmas! Press on The Isle of Wight have already made the story of Suzy's inspiration for this book front page news! Woohoo!

Suzy's early childhood was spent in Aberystwyth, a coastal town in Wales, where she went to school, and enjoyed all the delights of living by the sea.

Later, in adulthood, Suzy was a student at The University of Sussex, which is situated on The South Downs of England, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

More recently, she lived in Southbourne On Sea, a charming village in the Bournemouth area, in Dorset, England. It was here that she sighted "The Isle of Wight Polar Bear," across the ocean from Southbourne Beach, which inspired her to write her Children's Fiction Series.

Book One, "Snugs The Snow Bear," is set in Iceland, the Isle of Wight and in Southbourne, and in Snugs' first adventure with his animal friends, he is never far way from the wonder of nature and seaside towns! This magical tale celebrates the joys of Christmas, too!

The hallmarks of Suzy's writing are magical, colorful characters, and an atmospheric sense of place. It is her belief that her stories will inspire young minds, and arouse children's curiosity about the world around them. The Snugs Series has an important message for children about environmental issues.

Suzy now resides with her editor/writer husband, Craig, in Deltona, a short drive from the world-famous Daytona Beach, which is her favorite place in Volusia County, Florida.

When Suzy is not writing, she likes to go on nature walks and beach strolls. An intrepid traveller, she also enjoys visiting and exploring new places!
