Life, it's a challenging multi faceted experience. With our hardships and difficulties we also have benefits and lessons learned. We can see all sides of this experience, and therefore I encourage us all to look on the bright side.

Sometimes it's not easy to look on the bright side. Sometimes we're in the thick of it, or haven't yet gotten over a really difficult moment in our lives. The hardship may be the only thing we want to focus on. Complaining, worrying, feeling down, they don't take as much effort as finding solutions, focusing on improving and feeling positive, however complaining and worrying do deplete your energy. They encourage you to not make the best decisions for your health, perhaps eating that extra pint of ice cream or slice of pizza, because "who cares". We've all gone through times like these, and these times are bound to occur again. It's reality; it's life.
As you know this, you can create better habits of looking on the bright side in difficult times, treating yourself well, and with care. It will create a higher likelihood for this behavior to continue and soon your problems won't seem so dire and you'll be able to find solutions more easily. That is a much better result than ruminating, thinking your life is just going to get worse and there are no solutions. Perhaps your challenging experience is outside of your control but how you treat yourself in these times is in your control. Treat yourself better, look on the bright side and know it's all for the best.
