Look for Blues

This happened in one of the leadership development programs I attended. Our coach, Mr. Ramesh Partani , instructed us to take two minutes and keenly observe all the things in blue color around the hall, and then close our eyes. The task was that whoever calls out the maximum number of things in Blue color, wins.

After we closed our eyes, he asked how many things we had noticed in the "Red" color. We were taken aback as we hadn't been paying attention to red, and could barely recall a few.

Next, he instructed us to open our eyes and look for things in red color. To our surprise, we found plenty of Red things. The trainer concluded with a valuable moral, "You will always find what you are looking for."

A striking realization, if we constantly focus on difficulties, we are likely to find them. Conversely, if we seek bliss and blessings, we will be more likely to encounter positive experiences.

In Indian mythology, there is a parable about the Kalpavriksha or ????? ???? (or kalpadruma or kalpapādapa)?all of us taught in our childhood.
