A Look Back on NY FinTech Week 2024

Hi there,

What’s everyone been up to these past few weeks? ?? The Empire team is (somewhat) relaxed and refreshed after a riveting NY FinTech Week.

The energy in the city is something that could not be ignored. It's safe to say that NYC is *THE* place to be when it comes to FinTech – not just during April 8th-12th, but every day. We witnessed this firsthand in a conversation that kicked off the Empire FinTech Conference, Titans of NYC, with Amy Nauiokas (Founder & CEO of Anthemis Group , Johnny Ayers (CEO & Founder, Socure ), and Tommy Nicholas , (CEO of Alloy ), moderated by Fintech Is Femme 's Nicole Casperson .

But it’s more than just hearing about the energy and excitement in this city from a star-studded panel. Through the 60+ events that took place during these five days, you could feel just how powerful this community truly is:

We want to thank all of our sponsors – without your support, none of this would have been possible. We also want to shoutout to ALL of our event organizers across the week, who helped make this our biggest NY FinTech Week yet!

But most importantly, we want to also thank you. Whether you’ve been following Empire Startups for a decade or these past few weeks, took in on all the action or simply supported from afar.

It's safe to say that the FinTech ecosystem is alive and well, and with a community like ours, we can’t wait to see how the rest of 2024 unfolds.
