No longer working at WALGA
It was a tough call, but late last year I decided it's time to leave WALGA and go back to my consulting business. Goodbyes can be tough and this one was very tough. I loved working at WALGA, especially with the Environment Policy Team I was part of. We developed a strong sense of family there and our work reflected both that sense of community and the desire to help Local Governments manage the environment for better outcomes both for the environment and residents. Good work Nicole, Mel, Renata, Jade, Gemma, Lucy and Barbara and all at WALGA. The work you do is under valued and under appreciated.
I will miss the team, the work we did, the wins we made happen and the fun we had. I guess I won't miss the 3:30am starts on Tuesdays!
So, 2022 for me is getting my consulting work up and running again, with much more working from home (Balingup) and fewer, but welcome, trips to Perth. I have a couple of contracts already with DWER and Office of the Appeals Convenor, both of which I am enjoying greatly.
Keep well everyone especially after the 5th of February.
