For a long time, I felt like an imposter…?

When Virginia asked me to write an article for Buzz a year ago, I said what any business person would say, “no”. ??

I was no stranger to saying “no” to opportunities.?

From the outside, you might think I would have lots to say…?

But truthfully, I felt unqualified ??

What could I offer my esteemed peers??

I was suffering from some serious imposter syndrome….

Deep down I was proud of my abilities and the experience I had accumulated after 15 years of helping clients buy investment properties, move up the property ladder or find their forever homes. ??

After embarking on some serious work on my business and myself in the last 12 months, something had shifted. ?

I decided that I would write an article after all and that I would write about just that- feeling like no matter how hard you’re working, it never feels like “enough”…like you’re “enough”.??

?I wanted to share how the realization that this feeling doesn’t come from not doing enough but from doing too much has changed my life and my business.?

I wanted to let even just one person know who’s tired of putting in all that energy into appearing perfect that it’s o.k. to show up as your imperfect self and it’s o.k. to not do it all alone. That when you leverage systems you can build a better business and deliver a better client experience. ???

I hope this helps one person who appears to have it all to know that is normal to feel overwhelmed and unfulfilled when you try to do it all alone.?

It’s ok to say “I don’t know, but I’ll find out”.?
