Long Term Unemployment Job Searches Have This In Common - Does Yours?

In almost 14 years of job search coaching experience, I've seen that long term unemployed job seekers have some things in common.
These common attributes have slowed their searches, caused them to lose opportunities when they were qualified, prevented them from advancing or receiving offers. When uncorrected, these commonalities have burned though savings, ruined peoples finances, and even caused some to lose their homes.
How many of these common attributes of the long term unemployed are present in your resume and job search?
- No Job Search Plan: A plan is more than defining the job you're searching for, more than a target company list, contact list, callback list or calendar. A job search plan is a day-to-day activity list that maps out the number of calls, emails, and interviews you need to accomplish in order to find a job by an exact date. When you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
- Continuing To Do What You're Comfortable Doing: Long term unemployed job seekers don't adapt their job search strategies to the realities of a terrible job market. They continue to do the same things - To try to get more interviews, they send more resumes and apply to more jobs in the same way they did in the past (Einstein called doing the same things while expecting different results the definition of insanity).
- Describe Themselves As Qualified On Resumes And In Interviews: Employers get many qualified candidates applying for their jobs, many times more than interview spots. Being qualified doesn't make you special, it makes you average.
- Apply To Jobs Online: Applying online gives the worst odds of success, but outplacement, most career coaches and authors teach job seekers to apply online - It's a strategy that depends on random applications, volume, and hoping you'll get lucky. But in job market recessions like we see today, there's little luck, because huge numbers of candidates compete for shortages of jobs.
Are you risking your career and financial future by making any of these common mistakes?
Instead, let me show you strategies that accelerate job search for unemployed job seekers. I'll teach you the exact resume/job search strategies designed to make your job search go much more quickly, especially if you're unemployed. While we're at it, I can teach you how to turnaround a failing job search, making it so fast that you can beat unemployment by Q1 2021.
This is the 3rd recession I've recruited/coached through, so I've seen first hand what resume and job search strategies succeed for job seekers during recessions. I've also seen mistakes candidates make, causing their recession job searches to fail. I've been through this before and know what works and what doesn't.
That's why numerous job seekers who work with me have already gotten job offers this March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, January, February and March - every week since mid-March 2020.
As a top national recruiter who reads hundreds of resumes per day, who has helped hundreds of thousands of candidates in their job search, and seen thousands of employers' job search processes from the inside, I've got a different perspective than most career coaches.
I see that most job seekers do essentially the same things, even when they think they are job searching differently. I also see most job seekers were taught search methods that eliminate them from consideration, because they conflict with the employer's hiring process.
But I've been teaching job seekers to overcome unemployment for 13+ years by using non-traditional resume/job search strategies that demonstrate impact rather than just being average. I'll show you how to beat unemployment (even if you're over 40 or have other job search challenges) and find a job fast by understanding employers' point of view and hiring processes ... and using this understanding to beat your competition.
(I'm not just a career coach. I've also been a top national recruiter for the last 16+ years ... so you'll get advice from an insider's point of view.)
Let me show you what you can do now to change your job search and resume so you can find a job fast, even if you're between jobs, over 40, trying to change careers/industry/location, if your industry is in decline/consolidation, trying to overcome long term career gaps, family leave, find a remote job, turnaround your job search or other tough to solve job search problems.
