Long term career vrs short term win

Are you interested in winning today, or are you interested in long term success with your career??Great employees join great teams/companies for the long-term vision, or to play the infinite game!?If you take a job based purely on compensation, then you have accepted a win today but not necessarily a long-term win.?

As a recruiter I have held strong to find the best candidates who want to work on the mission, with a great team, surrounded by smart, long-term visionaries.?And time and time again I am surprised by the caliber of candidates that I have been able to recruit when I stood by this principle.?A candidate who takes compensation over mission, team and impact, is rarely interested in the infinite game.?People should be paid fairly, but throwing money at a candidate will only further destruct the ecosystem and the ultimate infinite game for us all!?
