It was a long day at the polling booth on Saturday

At the polling booth on Saturday with some great company! Our Booth Captain Clementina Maione was intent on providing us all with home baked rice cake, chips, chocolates, muesli bars and real espresso on tap. She also fed those coming to vote while handing out how to vote cards........What an Amazing woman, who by day is in her own law practice and at other times an incredible mother to all! As day turned into night it became quite brisk outdoors, so moving around was imperative to stay warm.

Scrutineering was an experience this time. The count had to be repeated as the initial result was found to be incorrect. It was a very long day and getting home at midnight was not what I expected....neither was the result across the country!

Lessons must be observed and corrective measures taken, as the right government for the job ahead should have had a much better result.
