Lonely. But Beautiful

Lonely. But Beautiful

The life of a solo entrepreneur can be a lonely road.

During my recent Freedom Planning Research interviews some even mentioned feeling unsupported by their partner.

Some days I feel lonely too.

Which is why I'm launching my Solopreneur Community in 2025.

The road is long and winding.

We often don't know what is around the corner.

So what can we do to make the trip more enjoyable?

Here are my Top Tips for enjoying your 'solo business trip'.

[1] Get Support: If it's not your partner (and maybe it shouldn't be), then take the trip with someone who can be objective - a mentor, coach or friend. Name them now or Book a Call with me.

[2] Meet People: Go to at least one in-person event each quarter and talk to people about you and your business.

[3] Travel Light: Apply KISS? - Keep It Super Simple. Ditch what you don't need - bad clients, processes that waste time, low-margin offers. Do a tech audit. Unsubscribe. Stop the bleeding.

[4] Enjoy the Trip: If you're having fun growing the business, think about stopping. What was the point of creating it in the first place? Go back there.

[5] Embrace the Unknown: Accept that not everything is predictable. Be brave, try new things and go with the flow - meaning jumping on opportunities (that align with your vision) and not being dogmatic about the plan.

[6] It's fine to go with the flow and enjoy the journey but, like every good traveller, HAVE A PLAN! If you don't have a clear destination, you are lost.

What do you think I should have mentioned when dealing with loneliness and enjoying your business trip?
