London PowerApps & Flow user group - 19th September 2019
The summer holidays are over, and now is the time to start attending community events again. On Thursday 19th September we are holding a PowerApps & Flow user group at The London Reactor, 70 Wilson Street, London, UK. Please register: aka.my/UserGroup
The agenda is as follows:
- 18:00 Welcome
- 18:30: Session 0: Show & Tell, given by guess Australian speaker, Lisa Crosbie.
- 18:45 Session 1: Power Platform Adoption Framework, Andrew Welch. At the Microsoft Business Applications Summit (MBAS), there were many sessions on governance and adoption, both hot topics at previous user group meetings. At #MSBizAppsSummit the Centre of Excellence (CoE) starter kit and the Power Platform Adoption Framework (#PowerPlatformAF) were released. Today, Andrew Welch is talking about the Power Platform Adoption Framework, which is becoming the global community standard for adoption, buildout, road mapping, enterprise management and governance of Power Platform at scale. The framework is supported and driven by Power Platform experts and citizen developers around the world, as well as its original creators at Applied Information Sciences (AIS) who are committed to an open community standard that benefits everyone. At the user group meeting we'll present the framework, but then focus more on a group discussion of evolving best practices, latest trends, and how the framework can continue to grow into a true community-driven standard. Paul is the Business Applications and Automation Practice lead at Applied Information Sciences (AIS), responsible for solving business problems with creative and elegant use of the Microsoft Power Platform (including the Common Data Service, PowerApps, PowerBI, Flow, and Dynamics 365)
- 20:00 Session 2: The Power of Microsoft Flow & Forms Pro, Megan Walker. Microsoft Forms Pro was made generally available on July 1st 2019. In a magical combination, Microsoft Forms has been given a much needed boost by storing responses in the Common Data Service, and therefore providing the ability to use the flexibility of Microsoft Flow to give organisations a powerful solution to request and analyse feedback from customers. In addition, a Power BI integration provides charts and analysis of responses within each survey. Let's take a look at how you can get started with Forms Pro! Megan Walker is a Microsoft Business Applications MVP and a D365/CRM consultant with experience in web design, social media and marketing. She's a passionate blogger, writing about tips, tricks and ideas for non developer geeks. You can read her blogs here.
