London Calling : Sustainability and Creativity on the agenda
The run in to polling day was spent in the capital and a chance to explore the twin themes of Sustainability and Creativity (and Mrs Kerr's birthday)
Sustainability played a key part with the excellent Stakeholderz networking event in the Sustainable Ventures floor space in City Hall (a Climate Tech Hub eye opener for a first time visitor ).
Lots going on and a quality list on the wall ...
And a very creative and collaborative working environment.
Great to catch up and also meeting new contacts discuss a wide range of Sustainability topics over a couple of days Stefanie Mollin Ling Sin Fai Lam, CFA Christopher MacNee Retrofit Action For Tomorrow Repolywise PalletEarth Alan Matthews Salvatore D'Urso ACMA, CGMA Robert Timms Florence Seabright
Creativity...
Creativity was also on the agenda with the Summer Exhibition taking a lead role and some great offerings. One that was packed with content was entitled "Souvenir from the Anthropocene " with a huge amount of content when one looks closely and topics that might well have appeared in election campaigning. As ever with London there are always surprises round corners --dogs playing chess with a rhino for example
And then there are the buildings ...
and of course the Houses of Parliament which were empty at the time of passing into the election run in.... New residents are due
Plenty to mull over and to follow up on... and seeing sustainability from a different location.
