LoJack LE Assists with Recovery of 2023 Toyota RAV4 in Florida

The owner of a 2023 Toyota RAV4, valued at $32,050, witnessed their vehicle being stolen by two unknown female individuals. The theft was reported to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, and the RAV4 was entered as stolen in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

The owner also called the LoJack SVR hotline and advised of the theft. The stolen RAV4 was then added to LoJack LE, our new law enforcement application for live tracking of stolen vehicles. The LoJack law enforcement liaison also shared the precise location provided by the LoJack GPS system with several law enforcement agencies within the area.

Officers from Seminole Police Department and deputies from the Broward CSO Burglary Apprehension Team utilized the information provided and drove into the area. The Toyota was subsequently located in a parking garage and placed under surveillance. After a period of time, the Toyota was recovered and will be processed for release back to the owner.
