LoJack Assists NYPD with Recovery of Stolen 2023 Mercedes-Benz G63 in South Amboy, NJ

On October 8, 2024, a representative from the Unique Auto Mall Dealership notified the South Amboy, New Jersey Police Department that a 2023 Mercedes-Benz G63 had been stolen from their inventory during the night. The stolen vehicle was equipped with a LoJack GPS device. The dealership promptly notified the LoJack Call Center, which entered the stolen vehicle into the LoJack LE app.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) utilized LoJack LE to obtain a precise location of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was found parked on a city street and was unoccupied. NYPD detectives established surveillance and waited for someone to return to the stolen vehicle. A suspect approached the G63 and was placed under arrest when he attempted to enter the stolen vehicle.
