SKIM7: LinkedIn edition

Logo Iconoclasm

In the month that.... Apple's 'Crush' ad sparked a backlash, Trump was found guilty and the UK's general election got off to a stormy start, we glazed and fired this, the latest SKIM7.

FYI, this is the light LinkedIn version of SKIM7, if you'd like to receive the full bells-and-whistles email in your inbox, clickity click.

1) An attention-grabbing brand campaign

Want to really break the mould? Take an 80-year-old watermark recognised by 94% of the world's population, and mangle it.

2) Winning words in action

Simple messaging often hits hardest. And it can boil down to the multifaceted power of a single word.

3) DEI: How to use language to foster stronger, happier, more productive relationships

Inclusive and engaged go hand in hand. Here's how to ensure the language your brand uses makes all members of your audience feel welcome.

4) What we're working on

The last month has been all about making things official. Our new designer has earned the SIM7 rite of passage, and beyond our studio, we've extended our business school client portfolio across the Mediterranean and down to the southern tip of Africa. We've also been enjoying the afterglow of joining our Shared Ownership friends from The SO Exchange at an event in London's vertiginous Sky Garden and patting ourselves on the back for securing a lead article in the latest issue of EFMD Global Focus. Have a read if you're interested.

5) Best-in-class branding

Apothecaries to anaesthetists, salubrious aims to mystical appeal; the many dimensions of healthcare have merged into a brand of true distinction.

6) Design we love

How better to bring a design to life that to do (almost) literally that? The new logos for a New York ad agency morph and palpitate like microscopic organisms.

7) Oh, and....

Bad to brilliant. Hell to heaven. Money to Monzo.

Before we go
