Logiq Consulting | Evolving Processes, Emerging Technologies
It’s been another busy month in the world of Secure by Design, as hot on the heels of the MOD’s programme launch last July, the CDDO have gone public with their own approach, guidance and roadmap to implementing the initiative.

Getting Started with Secure by Design
On the subject of implementing Secure by Design, a few weeks ago we published our third and final in-depth article, written by Logiq founder and Head Consultant, Rob Guegan. An article, that, much like the CDDO’s, looks to answer questions around simply “getting started” with the initiative: https://logiqconsulting.co.uk/news-insights/getting-started-with-secure-by-design/
While Secure by Design has its detractors and questions remain — in part due to the evolution of the accreditation model — ingraining a security-first approach and subsequent continual assessments can only be viewed as positive; leading to a more resilient cyber security posture. This will undoubtedly be further evidenced as more capabilities and projects come online that follow the mandated guidance.
techUK x Logiq
It’s been a bumper month for Logiq/techUK-related happenings.
Firstly, Principal Security Architect, Chris Giles wrote an article in support of techUK’s National Security Week, taking a view of the risky foundations that can undermine supply chain security and how implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy can shore up organisational defences.

Blog – The AI Cyber Security Challenge
Another topic garnering huge amounts of attention is the seemingly rapid rise of artificial intelligence. Unless you’ve been hiding somewhere very dark and secluded, you’ll likely be very familiar with the hype around AI, particularly Generative AI — a tool you may have integrated into your day-to-day workflows.
But what about cyber security? Any technology that can automate the processes of reviewing and handling huge amounts of data needs consideration, particularly in large organisations where sensitive data is processed. So, what role will AI continue to play in driving innovation – from both sides of the coin, cyber security, and threats?
In this blog, written by Logiq’s resident AI experts, we analyse what the technology might mean for the future of cyber security: https://logiqconsulting.co.uk/news-insights/the-ai-cyber-security-challenge/
