Question: What was your reaction when you found out that you had won the Dream Team award??

I was genuinely surprised! We have so many amazing individuals within our organization that do a ton of behind-the-scenes work to make the experience great. I secretly wanted to do the Tiger Woods fist pump, but I had to maintain my poise on the Zoom call!??

Question: How was the last month different when compared to other months with the organization??

With the season in full swing and two teams now playing in the Delta Center, there are a lot of moving parts. I’ve really had to buckle down and focus on making sure the ticketing process for our clients is smooth and seamless.? Our team does a fantastic job of helping one another so we can accomplish our goals and make sure the experience at Jazz and Utah Hockey Club games is memorable for everyone.

Question: How did you get your start with the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club? What has that journey been like??

I joined the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club back in the fall of 2022 as an account manager on the Premium Team. My journey has been a little unconventional. I am originally from Tucson, AZ, and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2019. I moved to Utah pretty immediately upon graduating, and worked for the University of Utah as an Equipment Manager and Director of Baseball Operations. After a few seasons in college athletics I was ready for a change within my professional career. While I love the team operations side, I wanted to test the waters on the business side of the sports world. The Premium Team took a chance on me, and I joined the team in September 2022. Within a year, I was promoted to my current role in Ticket Operations which has become one of my new career passions. I love being able to assist people within our organization with their ticketing needs, and it’s helped me set new goals for my professional career. I was told at a young age to love what you do and love the people you work with, and I can say very proudly that I love my job, peers, and this organization.

Question: If asked, how would you describe your role to someone who didn’t know you??

I take care of all of our ticketing operations needs from a single-game perspective, help with player and staff tickets, visiting team tickets, communicate directly to SeatGeek on product improvement, and assist with various troubleshooting and reporting needs from my peers on the revenue side.

Question: What is the best part of your role? What is the toughest part??

I think the best part of my role is playing a crucial role in ticket management and helping people troubleshoot their issues to make sure they have a seamless experience at all of our Delta Center games and events. I think the most difficult part of my job is how fast everything is changing, especially with the addition of Utah Hockey Club, but I see it as an opportunity for growth that will ultimately make us all better professionals.

Question: What is your favorite part of being with the organization??

The support from my coworkers and leadership. I’ve worked for a few different teams throughout my career, but the overwhelming support I receive from everyone here is truly amazing and something I’ve never experienced elsewhere.?

Question: Any advice/inspiration you’d give to someone looking to join the Utah Jazz or Utah Hockey Club??

Work hard, dream big, and have confidence in yourself. I don’t think I’d be here today without the hard work, determination, and attention to detail that was instilled in me at an early age. And when the going gets tough, as we U of A alums like to say,“BearDown”!
