Loewe Unveils First Casa Store in?Seoul

The first Casa Loewe has landed in Seoul.

Situated within the South Korean capital’s fashion-forward Apgujeong neighborhood in Gangnam, the 433-square-meter, three-story retail space offers the full range of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, alongside bags, shoes , small leather goods, eyewear, home scents and other accessories. A series of artist-designed handbags and baskets, including works by Bamboo artist Hafu Matsumoto and Japanese artist Tanabe Chikuunsai 4th, are available exclusively at the new store.

The Casa Loewe retail concept, the brainchild of Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson, aims to offer an eclectic blend of fashion, art, craft and design that exude the charm of an art collector’s home.

The Apgujeong store , which neighbors Loro Piana , Hublot?and?a Louis Vuitton flagship, is the LVMH Mo?t Hennessy Louis Vuitton -owned Spanish house’s 14th storefront in the country.

Asics Debuts 3D Printed Sockliners Made for Individual Foot Shapes at New Personalization Studio in Paris

Asics has partnered with French tech company Dassault Systèmes to open a studio in Paris to test a new service providing on-demand sockliners personalized for individual foot shape.

Dubbed the “Asics Personalization Studio,” the company described the activation as an “ultra-compact factory.” At the studio , Asics said it will use Dassault Systèmes’ modeling and simulation technology to design the shape of sockliners based on individual foot shape data modeled and simulated on the tech company’s 3DExperience platform. Advanced 3D printing technology is then used to create the sockliner, a thick lattice structure made from a highly flexible material layered to provide breathability and softness. The exact level of softness can be varied for any part of the foot, which aids physical recovery by reducing strain, while also improving performance.

Asics noted that it plans to carry out operational tests and monitor user satisfaction as part of a trial run for a wider commercial release . In 2025, the Asics Personalization Studio will be transferred to Japan for further testing and, in the future, the company will consider applying the technology to other footwear products besides sockliners.

Backtrack: This isn’t the first time Asics has used 3D printing technology. In August, the company teamed up with 3D printing company LuxCreo on the second generation of its ActiBreeze hybrid sandal . According to the athletic company, the revamped performance slide featured a 3D-printed elastic footbed.

Balenciaga Launches the Circuit Sneaker, It’s Latest Athletic-Inspired Shoe

Balenciaga’s newest sneaker is here.

Called the Circuit sneaker, the silhouette is the luxury fashion brand’s latest athletic-inspired shoe that plays with oversized proportions. But despite its size, the shoe is lightweight and features an augmented design of a traditional gym shoe – a common theme for the company.

Details of the Circuit sneaker include a sole that swells under the ball and heel, aimed at supporting motion and agility. The shoe’s upper is comprised of aerodynamic vented panels and a fused eye stay. Three different Balenciaga logomarks decorate the shoe’s exterior, illustrating the sneaker’s hybrid design.

The Circuit sneaker is the latest release from Balenciaga creative director Demna . In the company’s most recent spring 2025 runway show in May, Balenciaga revealed a new collaboration with Under Armour which includes a range of footwear items.
