#LodzYouInvest - news from ?ód? [January 2025]

Happy New Year. This is twenty first edition of #LodzYouInvest newsletter that I am sharing with you. I hope that 2025 will be even more loaded with events and news from Lodz. #LodzYouInvest is a series with cooperation with Invest in Lodz (Central Poland). Be ready for new business opportunities!

2025 New Year Reception and International Business Mixer will take place on Thursday, January 16th at mBank S.A. headquarters. You should not miss this business opportunity! Event, under hotorary patronage of the President of the city of Lodz will start at 18:00. More details here.

In April, SoDA - Software Development Association Poland Conference will take place in Lodz. With the theme of NEW REALITY: Adaptation & Resilience it will be great time for inspiration and networking. It will be 5th edition of this conference that will bring the chance to exchange experiences and strengthen your p osition in the new business reality. More details here.

Cultural aspects of Lodz will also grow in 2025! New, unique, cultural hub with a 350-seat concert hall will be placed at iconic former Ba?tyk cinema. At Archaeological Musem new expanded exhibition will be opened. Last but not least, modernizations of Lodz theaters - Teatr Powszechny and Teatr Nowy - will take place. All those investments are quoted for almost PLN 300M.

Revitalization of Lodz is also in progress. Multiple restored buildings, modernized flats, renewed streets and transformed parks/squares are visible every year. A lot of places receives new life with maintaining heart of history. You may find multiple such examples in every corner. You just need to come and visit Lodz. And maybe stay here for longer or ever?

The Independent recognized Lodz as one of the favourite destinations in 2024! I will just quote first sentence about Lodz from that report - "This handsome middle European city has an implausibly long main street flanked with impressive buildings." You can read more here.
