Locked down ensuring you are not locked out

While those of us who can are working from home, there are still many out there performing essential tasks. This includes the ACQSYS asset recovery teams, keeping hospitals, supermarkets, parcel carriers and others supplied with the roll cages, trays and magnums necessary to keep their supply chains running. All of our teams are working, across the country.

When you run out of this equipment, the whole delivery system slows and eventually jams, so we are working harder than ever to keep supply lines open by ensuring critical assets are re-inserted into the system. At the moment, however, many delivery services have shut down and, when lockdown is over, it’s going to be a messy restart because a lot of outlets will never open again and most will be short of staff.

So, while I’m stuck here at home, I’m thinking of ways we at ACQSYS can help bring some sanity to the inevitable chaos. One way is to carry out “sweeps” of all the sites that are currently closed where your cages and totes may be tied up. The risk of leaving them there and hoping they’ll turn up is that the next time you see them will be on eBay and Facebook marketplace. There are a lot of crooks out there and they will be quick off the mark, so our advice is to do the same.

If you think your equipment is at risk, why not contact us? Some of us may be locked down but that doesn’t stop us preparing for the release date.
