Lockdown Inspirations: Time-Lapse

Lots of time in one place.... it's a very new experience for me! 

So I'm trying to see it as a positive opportunity to experiment with photography techniques I don't often use, because I normally just don't have time. 

I've loved noticing for the first time that the wood anemone flowers in my shady back yard open and close each day, so thought they would make the perfect subject for a Time-lapse sequence.

It's nothing fancy, just roughly done with my iPhone on a tripod. (I recorded the soundtrack with Voice Memo and emailed it to myself, adding it in Premier Pro, but you could use free iMovie or android equivalent to edit). 

Time-lapse can work on anything - clouds, people, cars - whatever you can see moving from your lockdown location.
