How difficult is it for us to accept change? How much do we try to resist change? And why do we resist change and fail to accept it?
Unless we get to personally experience something or see first-hand someone close to us experiencing a particular pain/happiness, it mostly is difficult for us to accept/understand such a situation. I wonder why? Is it from our inability to literally make sense of what could possibly be happening or is it from just a lack of effort from our end to comprehend the depth of that issue unless when it were to strike us?
Why can we all not empathize? Why is it not possible for all of us to think from the other person's shoes? By trying to empathize, do we fear we maybe lowering ourselves to a level we don't want to be seen in? Or do we fear the pain that could possibly engulf us if we understood others pain?
When I was younger, I used to wish I could hear what's going on in people's minds. I would look at people and imagine scenarios that they could be possibly thinking to themselves while they are walking on that pavement or while riding behind someone's scooter, etc. And I'd wish I could solve their problems or help them feel better. I wonder why I used to wish that, but I can vividly recollect myself musing over this as a kid, while sitting in the back seat of my dad's car whenever we used to go out.
What are the random musings you've had as a kid? Do you still feel that way? If so, have you been working on it? And if not, what happened or what brought the change in your thoughts? Feel free to share it here!
Until then, take care everyone! Stay happy, healthy and safe!

4 年Change is subjected to an initial inertia which need to be overcome with an opposing force. Whereas transformation that happens similar to blossom of a flower from the bud is natural n not forcedly done hence acceptance is easier n d difference caused is beautiful n enjoyed by all irrespective of any descrimination.
