Lock Down Day 10: Is 4 greater than 10?

Is 4 greater than 10? Apparently so!

The routine I have with my daughter for her bedtime is prayer, a story book or two, and I lay down next to her, cuddling, for a short bit. A month ago while I was putting my li'l sugar pie to bed, I said "I'll lie down with you for just 10 minutes and amma will have to leave!"My daughter was upset. Upon inquiring she said - "but I want you lie down with me for 4 minutes!".I wanted to burst out laughing, saying 10 minutes is way longer than 4, but I played along. When I asked her why 4 and not 10, she replied she wanted me with her for longer. So, I just agreed instead of correcting her (sue me!).

Fast forward to now, thanks to the lock down, she's not only aware of which number is greater, but also can exactly gauge the length of each minute better! When I tried to wake up just a minute earlier tonight, she was fast enough to point that out. I had to continue laying next to her for another minute more. Pros of the shut down, my munchkin is getting very good with her numbers!!
