Location, Location, Location!
A young woman sits contemplatively at an exclusive table juxtapositioned outside a charming Parisian cafe. The sunlight casts a radiance upon her and the book she holds delicately as she allows the text to shape and form her daydreams.
A young family sits listening to the latest music resonating from the stereo speakers of the van they are taking to a local park. The children's sports equipment and meals are packed securely in their carryall bags. Anticipation about their little league games causes them to talk freely and bounce toward the ceiling excitedly.
A young woman crosses the living room of her newly settled New York apartment wondering how her plans for the evening will unfold. She nervously dials her best friends on her cell phone and scrolls through her agenda planner on her IPAD. Synchronizing her social activities with her work schedule proves to be more challenging than she originally anticipated. She refuses to allow her chaotic schedule to dampen her ability to enjoy an evening with friends, though.
Each of the above scenarios paints a vivid description of different people involved in different activities. Character is apparently important-- each of the people in these scenarios is important in their own right while demonstrating unique personalities and goals or ambitions. Theme is a motivational factor for each of the scenarios-- whether quiet contemplation is the specialized theme, or family togetherness and activity balances out the overall jovial mood such as in the second scenario.
Each of these scenarios illustrates a vivid image of a unique location.
Location is a new and unexpected method of bringing a reader or audience to a new concept.
A few of the most popular films utilize location as a major technique in creating harmony and bridging together scenes. Great works of literature capitalize and highlight locations within their classic and modern text.

While writing my novels and screenplays, I prided myself upon my ability to create descriptions which highlighted unique locations which I innocently assumed would be cherished and protected. Somehow watching these vlogs reminds me (and hopefully the viewers) of cherished locations.
